Claudia Starr, Director of Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation, has earned the designation of Corporate Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), and is the first person in Qatar to be awarded this distinction.

Doha, Qatar (PRunderground) September 13, 2009 – Claudia Starr, Director of Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation, has earned the designation of Corporate Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), and is the first person in Qatar to be awarded this distinction.

According to The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), who made the announcement, “The individual who earns CCEP certification is a professional with knowledge of relevant regulations and expertise in compliance processes.”

“This professional certification provides individuals from all industries with the platform to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in compliance and ethics,” said CCEP Chair Debbie Troklas.

The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics is the definitive accrediting organization for corporate compliance and ethics professionals globally and currently has over 1500 international members, including Fortune 500 companies. Six hundred ethics professionals in private and public corporations, as well as non-profit organizations worldwide have received the CCEP designation to date. A native of Portland, Oregon (USA), Starr, joined Qatar Foundation in early 2006.
