Alabama State Troopers and the Alabama Department of Transportation worked to re-route traffic after a tractor-trailer overturned on to a concrete barrier at mile marker 51 in the northbound lanes of I-85.

A crash involving a personal vehicle and a tractor-trailer occurred shortly after 10:00 a.m. on I-85 northbound at the 51 mm. The tractor-trailer overturned on to a concrete barrier. The personal vehicle was able to leave the scene however the tractor trailer is blocking the two northbound lanes of the interstate. Both lanes of I-85 North and one lane of I-85 South, near mile marker 49.4 in Lee County, were closed.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was injured, however no information provide on the extent of those injuries.
