iPhone natively has Gmail support but it doesn’t allow you to sync mail, contacts, calendars to integrate full push service. Here are the instructions to maximize your Gmail iPhone experience!
  1. Tap Settings on the iPhone Home screen.
  2. Go to Mail, Contacts, Calednars and add account
  3. Choose Microsoft Exchange instead of Gmail.
  4. Enter your Gmail address (“example@gmail.com”, for example) under Email.
  5. m.google.com under Domain.
  6. Your full Gmail address under Username.
  7. Enter your Password.
  8. Optionally, “Gmail” under Description.
  9. Tap Next.
  10. Choose Accept if the iPhone is unable to verify the “gmail.com” certificate.
  11. Enter “m.google.com” under Server.
  12. Tap Next again.
  13. Make sure Mail is ON.
  14. Turn ON Calendars if you want iPhone Calendar to sync with Google Calendar; note that iPhone Calendar can synchronize only with one calendar source, and Google Calendar will replace an existing MobileMe or, iCal or Exchange calendar.
  15. Turn ON Contacts only if you have copied your existing contacts to Gmail. Otherwise, your existing iPhone address book will be replaced with your Gmail contacts.
  16. Tap Done
